When washed-up pantomime dame Denise is faced with an ultimatum, she takes to the stage in a final bid to win back her once adoring audience. Trying and failing to get some laughs with her usual tricks, the unthinkable happens – she is transportedWaking up, she finds herself in a topsy-turvy world unlike any she has encountered before. A talking cow, a ballerina with a broken leg and an inept anchorman become her unlikely friends. Can this motley crew defeat the scary (and sexy) evil plaguing this world and help Denise get home? Or is this journey going nowhere?

This raucous show lands at the Gregson for a stripped back, low-tech preview before heading to the Curve, Leicester, for NSDF 2025.
