Bargello Bookmark

About
Join us to make a colourful and unique bookmark using the traditional technique of Bargello. The name Bargello comes from a set of chairs found in the Bargello Palace in Florence, and it's a type of needlepoint embroidery which uses straight stitches in a pattern to create motifs.
Traditionally Bargello is worked using wool on canvas - we'll be using a plastic canvas to give our bookmarks strength, and we have plenty of tapestry wool to choose from for your design.
We'll provide all the resources and tools you need and we'll give you hot drinks and biscuits to sustain you while you craft.
£15 for non-members and £12.50 for members (you'll need your membership number to book the reduced rate.)
This session is aimed at adults and accompanied older children (10+)
Please email if you have any questions.
