The Lower School Production of Matilda the Musical Jr.

Matilda the Musical Jr. is a thrilling story about a young girl named Matilda Wormwood, who stands out due to her incredible intelligence, wit, and mysterious powers. Despite being neglected by her parents, Matilda finds comfort in books and her vivid imagination. When she starts school, her kind teacher, Miss Honey, recognises her extraordinary gifts, but Matilda faces challenges from the tyrannical headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, who delights in punishing students.

Undeterred, Matilda uses her sharp mind and telekinetic abilities to stand up to Miss Trunchbull, helping her classmates and Miss Honey in the process. The musical features high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs that bring Matilda's world to life, celebrating courage, friendship, and the unstoppable spirit of a remarkable girl.

This production contains some flashing lights and loud sound effects.

Seating

Seats are not allocated but rather will be on a first come first served basis.

Additional Seating

Due to high demand in tickets we will shortly be opening up additonal side-facing seating in the downstairs areas of the theatre, close to the stage. As these seats are at a more restricted angle, we have reduced ticket pricing for these seats. If you have purchased these seats (Green seats), please inform a member of the Front of House staff on arrival and you will be directed to this seating area.

Sales

Please note it is card only for any refreshment sales.

Tickets must be purchased online before the production.
