Helensburgh Oratorio Choir together with the One World Singers from Denver Colorado, will provide an unforgettable evening recital as One World Singers present a vibrant choral concert featuring beloved American folk melodies, the timeless jazz of George Gershwin, the poetic pop of Paul Simon, and stirring selections from the classical repertoire. Accompanied by piano, this dynamic program captures the rich tapestry of American musical expression—from soulful harmonies to toe-tapping rhythms. Nick Newman is a dynamic conductor and educator with a passion for building community through music.Helensburgh Oratorio depart from their traditional repertoire to encompass, works by Robert Burns, Scottish composers Hamish MacCunn and James McMillan; Charles V Stanford – an Anglo-Irish composer; to America’s Aaron Copland and 2 modern composers Sarah Quartel and Reena Esmail. There will be refreshments post concert.
