The qualification is designed to upskill assessors within their specialist subject area, to internally quality assure assessments. Ultimately, the qualification is ideal for experienced assessors who are looking to become an internal quality assurer and quality assure practice for vocational coaching qualifications.

Learners must:

•Be at least 18 years of age

•Be appropriately identified

•Be able to communicate effectively in English (this includes listening, speaking, reading and writing)

•Hold an assessing qualification

•Have access to internal quality assurance opportunities

Learners must:

•complete a series of written tasks contained within the Learner Portfolio

•produce or review an IQA strategy and provide a rationale

•produce or review a sampling plan with a rationale

•plan and delivery of the IQA interventions

Assessor Criteria

Due to the assessment requirements for this qualification, learners need to be observed quality assuring in their own environment. Learners are welcome to source their own assessors  (that meet the assessor criteria). Alternatively, we can support in sourcing an appropriately qualified assessor.
