Join experienced beekeeper Fred Ayres from Lune Valley Beekeepers in this free indoors session to learn about the importance of pollinators in your garden and allotment. Fred will cover:-Pollination and why it is important
-The various types of pollinator
-How to create an environment that will attract pollinators
-The effects of pesticides and herbicides on pollinators
-Managed (as opposed to wild) pollinators.
-The threats to pollinators posed by the invasive Yellow Legged Asian hornets and how people can contribute to the national trapping and monitoring programmes.
