About
Low Stanger is a small mixed farm between Cockermouth and Lorton. We grow certified organic vegetables and apples for sale to the public.There are many diverse habitats on the farm, including wild flower hay meadows, wetland County Wildlife sites, miles of hedgerows and several wooded areas.
Come and see how we work with nature using traditional farming methods to grow food and enhance biodiversity.
Please arrive at 2pm for the farm tour. There will be tea and cakes at the end.
We think Low Stanger is a special place and would like to give more people the chance to experience it. If volunteering is of interest you can find out about ways in which you can help.
