Ever wondered where the wheat in the last loaf of bread you bought came from, or how it was grown? Come along to Open Farm Sunday here at Lodge Farm to find out! We grow cereals here - wheat, oats and barley - and we'd love to tell you more about how these crops go from being seeds in the ground to food on your plate. You'll meet the farmers who grow your food, see machinery displays with the equipment we use, go on either a walking tour or tractor & trailer ride tour of the farm, get hands on with activities, and much more! Our bar will be open for hot, cold, soft & alcoholic drinks, and there'll be homemade local food available too - so why not make a day of it? We'll be open from 1-5pm and you're welcome to drop in anytime, but seats on tractor & trailer ride tours can also be reserved in advance. Entrance is free and we'd love to show you around!Location
