The Magic of Composting: Talk followed by Q&A

About
As part of Great Big Green Week, Bolton-le-Sands Library is hosting a talk on composting with Diana McIntyre, Community Composting Coordinator at the FoodFutures Closing Loops project.During this fun and informative session, you will get introduced to the wonders of transforming what might be considered waste into a valuable material, useful for the soil, for plants and for us. Experienced composters will be very welcome to share their wisdom and might learn some useful tips, too.
During the afternoon, digital microscopes will be available for children and adults to explore the life found in a compost bin. And a "Bury You Pants" display shows how burying an old pair of pants can help indicate how healthy your soil or compost pile is.
