Guided bird walk (Lancaster Cemetery) at Wild Roots

About
As relatively undisturbed areas, cemeteries provide a home for all sorts of plants, animals and insects, including birds, whether you're a novice or a certified twitcher. Join us for a group walk around the cemetery to see what there is to spot - there will be coffee and cake to follow!
Please bring your own binoculars if you have them.
Suitable for children accompanied by adults.
Please come to the North Chapel building and look out for a table and banner that reads 'Friends of Lancaster Cemetery'
This walk is suitable for adults and accompanied children
All children must be accompanied by their responsible adult at all times.
There is a maximum of 1 child per adult.
What to wear:
- Weather-appropriate clothes, which may include a waterproof coat or a sun hat
- Sturdy footwear - surfaces may be slippery depending on weather.
What to bring along:
- A bottle of water to ensure you stay hydrated
- Binoculars and camera/camera phone if you have them

Cancellation
We will only cancel the event in the case of extreme weather warning being issued by the Met Office. This is most likely to be wind-related.
We will not cancel in event of rainy or sunny weather.
This walk is led by the Friends of Lancaster Cemetery.
