In late 2024, Kirkby Lonsdale suffered an horrific fire that ripped through the town centre and sadly took the life of one local resident. The Joint Emergency Management & Resilience (JEMR) Team take us ‘behind the scenes’ to tell us about the pre-planning, response and support systems used to keep Kirkby Lonsdale safe, get back open for business and how you can help support future incidents.Location
