Back by popular demand! This is a full day CPD for new and developing primary music leads.Based centrally in Maidstone, the day will investigate the following themes:
What is the role of a music lead and why is the role different to other curriculum area leads? This will include planning, assessment, monitoring, document writing, working with the Hub, managing funding, instrumental teachers and events, extra-curricular, trips, performances and working with your music averse colleagues! Vision making, skills mapping, resources and writing a Music Development Plan will be a key element of the day.
There will be plenty of time for questions and chat and lunch and refreshments are provided!
The day will be facilitated by Zoe Marksford, Kent Music School Support and Development Manager.
There is a non-attendance charge of £35 to cover refreshments, lunch and materials. Please give 48 hours notice (not including weekends/holidays). Please read full Ts & Cs
