Be amongst the first to witness the London preview performances of the new play from :DELIRIUM: 'MILES.'Written and directed by Artistic Director, Oliver Kaderbhai, this electrifying new stage production dives into the life and legacy
of Miles Davis, the man responsible for creating the most influential and highest selling jazz album ever recorded - Kind of Blue. Charting his life as a black musician in pre-civil rights America, his addiction to heroin and his obsession with making music, this show explores what it takes to be an artist in a world designed to hold you back.
Through :DELIRIUM:'s acclaimed combination of projection, puppetry, live music and storytelling, this show takes you on a smokey, fever-dream journey from addict to genius, through the golden era of 'Cool'.
Featuring the UK's foremost jazz trumpet star Jay Phelps and introducing Benjamin Akintuyosi as Miles, the two performers shape shift through time to bring the greatest pioneers of music to the stage.
