About
Have you been tasked with teaching whole class ukulele next year? Need some pointers for effective delivery? Come to this free afternoon session where we will go through the basics of effective whole class ukulele teaching using the 'Ukulele Magic' book as well as free online resources. We will look at: tuning up, classroom management, posture and hand positions, strumming/picking and managing expectations, lesson planning, pace and scaffolding activities. Ukuleles provided or bring your own. Ukulele Magic will be available to purchase in advance of the session if you would like a copy. No experience necessary.The afternoon will be facilitated by Zoe Marksford, Kent Music School Support and Development Manager.
There is a non-attendance charge of £15 to cover refreshments, lunch and materials. Please give 48 hours notice (not including weekends/holidays). Please read full Ts & Cs
