As part of Lancaster Dino Fest, we are pleased to welcome back Wild West Dino Discovery with their amazing fossil display to deliver workshops filled with fascinating dinosaur facts.The mini dinosaur workshops are a great introduction to prehistoric life and are carefully tailored to meet the needs of all children. The sessions are targetted at primary age pupils age 5 and older, and should not be booked for children under 3 years of age.
All sessions are fun and designed to enhance a child’s, social and personal development, with the emphasis to inspire young minds to become more connected to the natural world.
The activities include:
• Children have the opportunity to handle a range of different fossils from the exhibition.
• Exploring T. rex and other dinosaurs.
• What makes a dinosaur a dinosaur movement activity
• Meet Toothless the baby Utah raptor and get to know its individual personality.
Sessions will last 45 minutes followed by time to take photos.
