Gardens of Easton Lodge Sunday 20th July, Remembering the Gardens in the World Wars

There was an airfield in the Easton Lodge estate during WW2 and it was a training ground for WW1. Information from the Trust’s archives will tell the stories of the men and women involved and visitors will also learn from a range of other local museum and community group displays, including the Rifles Living History Society, 8th Association and the Dunkirk museum. Live songs from the Lancashire Belle will evoke the era and get us singing along.
Visitors will find something of interest for all. Children will also enjoy a Garden trail and crafts.
The Gardens will also be at their best in July, with lots of colour and vegetables growing apace in the walled kitchen garden.
Hot bacon/cheese/hummus rolls, homemade cakes and hold and cold drinks.
Adult entry £6.00 if bought in advance or £7.00 on the gate. Advance tickets can be purchased through Trybooking
Children under 16 FREE. Dogs on leads welcome.
