Building on the success of previous similar events this year’s Diocesan Rural Conference promises to be equally encouraging, inspiring and relevant to all who have a heart for rural mission and ministry (lay or ordained).
This year, as we are ‘CELEBRATING FAITH’ across the Diocese of Chichester, a variety of rural practitioners, as well as a keynote speaker, will share their experience, wisdom and encouragement in areas relevant to our rural churches and communities.
Six workshop/discussion groups will give an opportunity to discover and celebrate what God is doing in villages and small communities across the Diocese, to share one’s experience, ask questions, and to consider the challenges and opportunities of being the Rural Church.
Feedback from previous rural events:
‘The whole experience was excellent. It couldn’t have been better organised, prepared and presented. Enjoyable too!’.
'Most helpful. Relevant and inspiring speakers. Great to share problems and ideas with other parishes.’
‘I am so pleased I attended the Rural Conference - people were so friendly; I feel encouraged, valued & hopeful’.
