Lingua Ignota - Marian Consort + Talk III: Hildegard (SOLD OUT)

About
The programme of works entirely by female creators juxtaposes the timeless music of polymath Hildegard of Bingen with exciting commissions and new arrangements from some of today’s most engaging compositional voices including Kerry Andrew, Cheryl Frances-Hoad, Zöe Martlew and Joy Nkoyo. The title Lingua Ignota comes from a mystical and secret language that Hildegard created that could be embedded into Latin: text that is used in Zöe Martlew’s new work specially written for The Marian Consort.
