Monday 18 August
10:00 - 12:30. A composting toilet theory session at Claver Hill community food project. The theory will cover what goes on in the composting process, the design of toilets & regulations that they might need to comply with on both community/allotment growing sites & domestic sites.
13:00 - 15:00. Shared lunch & site visit to a smallholding in Overton to learn about a hot composting toilet system.

For those keen to put theory into practice! Join this co-design session of a composting toilet at Summerhouse Farm near Lancaster.
5 & 6 September
Join one or both practical work days to build a composting toilet at Summerhouse Farm.
