Mayonnaise is a Filipino alternative rock band formed in 2002 and gained national recognition after winning the 2004 Red Horse Muziklaban competition. Led by frontman Monty Macalino, the band is known for its emotionally charged lyrics, powerful live performances, and genre-blending sound.They are best known for their iconic hit "Jopay", which has become a cult classic and internet favorite. Other fan-favorite songs include "Bakit Part 2," "Tayo Na Lang Dalawa," "Synesthesia,". Over the years, Mayonnaise has released multiple albums and maintained a loyal fanbase across generations.
With over two decades in the industry, Mayonnaise continues to evolve while staying true to their heartfelt storytelling and raw, alternative rock roots.
