Discover how to create a beautiful, wildlife friendly garden that supports birds, pollinators, and other creatures in this community co-created course with Sally Pearce from the Leicestershire Rutland Wildlife Trust. Come and have your say on what matters to you and help shape this course. You can book on for all 6 weeks or individual sessions. Each week will include an hour gardening workshop and and hour of chat and reflect with free refreshments!August: Tuesday 12, 19th, 26th 9.30am
September: Tuesdays 2nd, 9, 16th 9.30am.
-Learn basic gardening skills such as sowing seeds, taking cuttings
-How to plant for wildlife
-Learn about features like ponds, log piles and nesting areas
-Composting, water conversation, and soil health
-Learn how to minimise your gardens carbon footprint
Join us at the Neighbourhood Nook plot at Queens Road Allotment Sites, green gate opposite Gainsborough Road LE2 1TT, you will need to read the signs and ring for entrance.
