Six-week course for beginners or those with more experience. The sessions are every Monday10am-1pm.Projects can vary depending on skill level but may include learning :
To use a sewing machine, create a stitch directory
Make bunting, triangle or heart, fabric bowl, coasters, sleep mask, tote bag.
The use of our sewing machines, along with fabric and thread from our donated collection are included. Some projects may include such items as wadding, binding and zips which you may need to provide, your tutor will advise.
The tutor keeps several different sewing patterns that can be used. If students want to bring their own pattern, the tutor is happy to support in achieving completion of the project.
The courses will continue throughout the year, allowing you the opportunity to continue your sewing journey if you choose to.
Please Note: Our sewing classes are designed with adults in mind. We do welcome 16 and 17-year-olds accompanied by an adult.
