This course provides in depth knowledge of barriers faced by underrepresented communities in sport as well as providing practical solutions to help you navigate language and terminology, current EDI legislation, and how to appropriately challenge inequitable behaviour.
Who is the course for?
This course is designed for leaders, coaches, administrators, and volunteers within sports organisations who want to create more inclusive and equitable environments.

Participants will gain practical tools and strategies to identify and address barriers, ensuring fair access and opportunities for everyone. By completing the course, organisations can strengthen their culture, broaden participation, and enhance their social impact. This course is endorsed by CIMSPA and carries 6 CPD points.
Learner Eligibility:
Learners must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be appropriately identified
- Be able to communicate effectively in English (this includes listening, speaking, reading and writing).
Format/Duration
The course is delivered as a full day of face-to-face learning facilitated by an expert tutor. Lunch will be provided on the day.
