Free admissionA new tour by Eleanor Levin, in collaboration with Friends of Lancaster Cemetery, focusing on the lives and stories of some of the women buried there.
You will learn about ordinary and extraordinary women who are woven into the rich heritage of the city, including a music hall entertainer, a patient at Lancaster's Moor Hospital and a woman who gave birth on the high seas.
This free tour will start at the North Cemetery, look out for a Friends of Lancaster Cemetery sign. Attendees will be contacted by email should we need to cancel for severe weather / illness.
Accessible parking is available at the Quernmore Road entrance. The tour will take part along wheelchair accessible walking paths. Get in touch with
