Our summer conference is one of the highlights of the ABLE year. A full day of practical sessions, honest conversations, and time with people who genuinely understand the role.

This year we have a strong line-up across the day, with a choice of morning and afternoon workshops covering everything from Ofsted readiness and cyber crime to retirement planning, risk management and wellbeing. There is also a dedicated networking session for those who want unstructured time to connect with colleagues.

After lunch, we will be hosting the ABLE SBL Recognition Awards for the second year running. Nominees are put forward by colleagues who have seen their work first-hand, and the awards are announced live on the day. It is a moment worth being in the room for.

The day takes place at Eastwood Hall, on the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire border, with easy access from across the region.
