Barrow Library is taking part in "Our Freedom: Then and Now," a new UK-wide, locally led arts and creative program. This ambitious initiative will produce 60 new pieces of work across the nation, exploring what "Our Freedom" means to local people and their communities, reflecting 80 years after the end of the Second World War.
This free and interactive event will showcase the comic-art book created by Lyndon White and include a live draw-along jam and poetry performance. Barrow Library will transform into a space of shared memory and imagination, where stories of freedom—past and present—come to life.
