Forage & Thrive (SOLD OUT)
About
A session combining a guided foraging walk and workshop making wild medicine to boost your health as we move into autumn.Foraging for wild food and medicine offers a wealth of opportunities to reconnect with nature.
Whilst outside, you will learn to identify plants, about their properties, some historical uses and folklore, and we will forage together.
Back indoors you will learn how to prepare your own foraged medicine.
This is a small group, "slow" event lasting approx. 4 hours.
We are likely to cover less than 4 miles.
There may be some uneven terrain and slippery surfaces.
Please wear suitable footwear and come prepared to walk whatever the weather, including full sun or heavy rain.
Suitable for beginners and those with some foraging experience.
This workshop will be led by Julia Russell, local herbalist and member of the Association of Master Herbalists, who has 25 years experience of leading foraging walks.
