A reception at Sheffield Town Hall 5.30-6.30pm on Wednesday 12th November.Supported Lodgings hosts are recruited and supported by Sheffield City Council Fostering Service. They support young people aged 16-21 giving them a home, a friendly face, a listening ear and practical support until they are ready to live independently. The scheme is working really well for young people from varying backgrounds and circumstances including young refugees.
The fostering service has been running this scheme for 1 year and we would like to celebrate our first year, thank our existing hosts (and young people!) and share more information about the scheme. We are looking for ways to promote the scheme more widely and hope you can help!
There will be refreshments, entertainment and presentations about what supported lodgings is and how its helping Sheffield young people.
