The UK's biggest suicide prevention initiative is coming to Wrexham!

Be part of something special as we come together for the Finale Event of the Baton of Hope Wrexham tour 2025. This evening will bring together inspiring musical performances and powerful personal stories as we reflect on the journey of the Baton across Wrexham and the message of hope it carries.

What to expect:

• Inspiring talks from guest speakers such as Mike McCarthy (Founder of Baton of Hope UK), Mike Palmer (3 Dads Walking), and John Bell (aka DADPool), alongside voices of lived experience from across our community.

• Special performances from local artists and the Sing Their Name Choir, blending music and spoken word to create moments of reflection and unity.

• Meet a range local organisations providing support in Wrexham and find out about the services available in our community.

This is more than just an event – it’s a chance to come together, to listen, to reflect, and to celebrate the resilience and hope of our community. With heartfelt words and unforgettable performances, the Finale Event will honour the Baton’s journey through Wrexham and the voices that have carried it.

We’ll be taking photographs and videos during the event that will be used by Baton of Hope UK, Baton of Hope Wrexham and Advance Brighter Futures as we continue our work in raising awareness and suicide prevention. Please let us know in advance if you’d prefer not to be included and we’ll let our Media Team know.

If you have any accessibility or dietary requirements, please let us know beforehand (you can tell us this when booking your tickets).

This is a free event, but we will be raising money for suicide prevention on the day, so donations are welcome. Suggested donation £5-10.

Entry to the event is completely free, but we do kindly suggest a minimum donation of £5–£10 per ticket (or whatever feels right for you). Every penny raised will go directly into suicide prevention – supporting the work of Baton of Hope UK nationally and Advance Brighter Futures (ABF) locally in Wrexham.
