Making the most of your board
About
The session is geared towards charity CEOs and managers - those new(ish) to their role and those who wish to reflect on working with their charity's Board of Trustees. It will look at:⦁ the respective roles of trustees and CEO
⦁ where boundaries are
⦁ good practice for how a Board and CEO work together
⦁ what it all means in practice for you in your role
What will you get out of it?
Participants will gain insights into what is expected from these two vital roles in charities, - including legal responsibilities - and how they work together. It will also look challenges with examples of different ways CEOs and trustees can work well together. There will be space for questions and reflection on this important part of charities and how they function.
The cost of the session is £10.
