About
There are lots of things to consider when welcoming students who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. Do they feel that they need to socially transition once again? Have they come out to their family, or is this a new freedom where they can explore their identity for the first time? Have they been placed with someone who has never had interaction with someone from the Queer community before? Do they know where the safe spaces are in the new city? As part of this session, we will take some time to explore some of concerns and think about how we can best support them during this potentially difficult time of upheaval.Date
