"Delve Deep into Cornwall's Treasure" (adults on 21st Oct)

About
As approved providers of the Camborne School of Mines (Exeter Uni/ Penryn), and with generous support from Bodmin Town Museum and the Town Council, we are delighted to offer an opportunity for suitable adults to receive outdoor training about Cornish rocks, ores and metal mining (past and future), with the aim that they go back to a family, church, other community group, school or nursery and share the learning.Your team will plan Geology Garden areas, studying the colours, before competing to identify rocks and find the various types of coins/ buried treasure.
In the middle at snack time please bring food and drinks with you or contact us to pre-order (with 10% discount) from Flory cafe across the road. Then we have a short visit to the geology sections of the Museum, before further treasure-based adventures.
This is the first of 6 units available in a number of locations through the year, making up a course on mining and renewables, called "Full STEAMS Ahead to Net Zero".
