The play-day is an opportunity for wind-band musicians to play challenging and exciting Wind Band music written over the last few years.

The day will be led again by Duncan Stubbs formerly Principal Director of the RAF Music Services.

It is an opportunity for all wind band players to tackle challenging music.

The day will explore a number of pieces:-
(Standard wind band sets will be used throughout, brass band treble clef parts for euphonium and trumpets/cornet only. No Eb horn parts)

Distant Land              John Rutter

Thames Journey       Nigel Hess

Plus some additional surprise items.

 

Drink Refreshments included - please bring your own mug/cup/glass and lunch.
Please also bring your own music stand!
