Delve Deep into Cornwall's Treasures (for Family Teams)

About
The staff at Meadow Barns Centre for Climate Hope are delighted to announce a new project, supported by Bodmin Town Museum and Bodmin Town Council, that will enable them to deliver 'Full STEAMS Ahead to Net Zero', a fun style of outdoor family learning, on Tuesday in half term (Oct 28th).Developed in 2024 with support from the UK government and Exeter University, the theme is metal mining - past, present and future - and this day will be an introduction to Rocks, Ores, Metals and Making Money.
We have spaces in the morning and more in the afternoon, but for only 4 teams at a time to play at hunting the treasure.
So please gather a group of up to 5 people (all ages from 3 to 103 can take part) and book yourselves in. Prepare for tons of fun and amazement at what you can find beneath your feet, when you know what to look for.
If interested to do so, there is a chance to study in greater depth & achieve a Full STEAMS Ahead award for completing the whole course in 2026.
