Throughout history, when people couldn’t speak freely, they found ways to express themselves indirectly — through paintings, songs, and stories. Art became their voice of resistance, a way to question the world, challenge injustice, and inspire change. ‘Becoming One’ continues this tradition, giving South Asian women artists a platform to reclaim their narratives and share their stories across borders.
