Webinar: Neurodiversity Affirming Practice and Play
About
This webinar explores how diverse play patterns can be understood as meaningful, developmental pathways rather than deficits to be corrected. Drawing on neurodiversity-affirming perspectives, we will look at how autistic and other neurodivergent children engage with play, how these patterns connect to learning and regulation, and how early years educators can nurture play without forcing it into normative boxes. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own assumptions about play, and to reimagine how early childhood environments can affirm, scaffold, and celebrate diverse ways of being.Date
