Join us for another thought provoking Be Bold! Lecture with writer and cultural historian, Dr Tiffany Jenkins. Dr Jenkins is author of the acclaimed Keeping Their Marbles: How Treasures of the Past Ended Up in Museums and Why They Should Stay There. Her latest book is Strangers and Intimates: The Rise and Fall of Private Life.
In her talk, Dr Tiffany Jenkins will look at how, through social media, surveillance and oversharing, we have seen our private lives eroded at a speed never experienced before and if the concept of a private life can survive in the twenty-first century.
Doors open at 6:45pm, talk starts at 7:00pm.
Drinks and refreshments available pre-event.
Open to all senior school pupils.
