Girvan Arts Festival Scratch Night

Drama graduate, Girvan's own Frazer Kirkland, mentored by top Scottish playwright and fellow Girvanite, Douglas Maxwell, has been commissioned to run Girvan's first ever 'Scratch Night', where budding playwrights get to see a short piece of their work performed by actors in front of an audience.Frazer will also be directing these mini plays, and feedback from the actors, the director and the audience will help the writers hone their art.
It's a chance to see developmental theatre in action, and admission is free. There will be a mixture of locals amongst the budding playwrights, actors and actresses, so come along see them in tread the boards.
