Introduction to Auricular Acutherapy

            About
Auricular Acutherapy refers to the application of acupressure with seeds or acupuncture with pins on specific points on the surface of the ear, with the aim of supporting the bodies own healing mechanisms. The NADA 5-point protocol was developed in the U.S. over 50 years ago and it is used in prisons, addiction treatment, and mental health services around the world. An Introduction to Acutherapy will give you a good understanding of the benefits of treatment for service users and the benefits for your service, the evidence base, the scope of treatment, and how to implement acutherapy with pins or seeds in treatment programs. You will have a go at ear seeding, and you will leave with a seeds starter pack and ear seeding booklet.
