We warmly invite you to our first ever Salesian STEM lecture evening in memory of alumnus Dr Andy Mitchell.Ever wondered about the role of Physics in the Earth's Climate or how to stop a killer asteroid from hitting the Earth? Then this is the evening for you!
Meteorologist, Sir Brian Hoskins will be talking about how physics impacts climate. Dr Robin Andrews, an experimental volcanologist, will be discussing how to stop killer asteroids and Dr David Whitehouse will be speaking on the future of space exploration.
Refreshments will be available on arrival. During the interval, drinks and snacks will be available to purchase from the Salesian PTA.
