Do you want to know how to support autistic learners more effectively in a mainstream classroom?During this session, you will receive training about autism, helping to build your understanding of the day-to-day difficulties experienced by autistic people. We will also look at strategies which can help to reduce anxiety, promote effective communication, develop independence and increase engagement in learning activities.
There will also be an opportunity to talk to members of the Outreach Team about specific challenges that you face in your setting.
This training is intended for education professionals working with autistic learners.
