Lancashire Community Climate Action Forum 2026
About
Join us for the Third Lancashire Community Climate Action Forum. The forum continues with the themes of mobilising community voices and expanding the scale of action on the climate emergency with a strong focus on inclusivity, partnership, and community leadership.Hosted in Lancaster, a place already rich in grassroots climate activity, this forum celebrates the power of place-based action.
Communities know their areas best, and they are key to driving the changes needed at local level to adapt to our changing climate: transforming neighbourhoods, inspiring behaviour change, and building resilience from the ground up.
This forum aims to:
• Celebrate the diversity of local action and the people & organisations leading it
• Share knowledge, projects and partnerships to inspire wider impact
• Support communities to scale up efforts with practical tools, advice and collaboration
• Champion place-based approaches that put people and their environment at the centre of climate solutions
Together, we’re not just tackling the climate emergency — we’re co-creating a thriving, sustainable Lancashire together not just for today but for future generations. By connecting across the county, we can maintain momentum, strengthen our collective voice, and ensure that climate action is shaped by and for the people who live here.
