Ho ho ho! Oaklands Zoo and farm will once again be opening to the public, offering a relaxed and family-friendly way to explore our teaching zoo and farm. Visitors are welcome to arrive at any time between 11am and 4pm.Please note this is a self-guided visit – there are no scheduled tours. However, a Daily Events Board will be available at the entrance of the zoo building, featuring timings for activities such as animal feeding and festive enrichment sessions (e.g., Lemur Christmas stockings at 2:00pm), subject to animal needs.
Keep an eye on our social media for more details of other festive activities which will be running on the day.
As part of a working college campus, our zoo is a compact, educational space. We recommend allowing around 45 minutes to 1 hour for your visit.
There are no catering facilities on site, but we do offer a designated outdoor picnic area – feel free to bring your own packed lunch, however please note that there is no shelter available here at present.
Ticket Inclusions:
Your ticket includes access to see a variety of animals including marmosets, lemurs, Tank the tortoise, rabbits, meerkats, amphibians, fish, owls, and much more.
