About

This workshop will give attendees an understanding of the application of LIDAR data when mapping trees and wood pasture. Through a short workshop, attendees will begin to understand how to use LIDAR data in QGIS and apply this to their own work.

The training is delivered by Luke Steer BSc.(Hons), Dip.Arb.(RFS), F.Arbor.A. MICFor.

Luke Steer has been working and studying within the field of arboriculture since 1984. Since March 2006 Luke Steer has been working as an arboricultural consultant for his company Treescapes Consultancy Ltd.

Please note- Attendees will need to have at least some experience using QGIS and you will be required to download some data (provided) in advance of the session. Details will be sent out before the event.
