Sedbergh Music Festival has always existed to hold three things together: high-quality professional concerts, meaningful involvement of young people and local musicians, and affordable ticket prices with wide appeal.That balance remains central to what we do. Patron support is what allows us to maintain it — particularly at a time when artist fees, travel, accommodation and venue costs continue to rise.

keep ticket prices accessible, give young musicians and local groups real performance opportunities,and ensure the festival continues to make a strong cultural and economic contribution to the town.
As a thank you, we would be delighted to invite patrons to an informal drinks reception after the opening and closing concerts — a chance to meet fellow supporters and some of the artists, and to say thank you properly.
