Join us for a day trip to the Lake district. Firstly we visit the thriving town of Bowness-on-Windermere town, the largest in the Lake District National Park, located on the shores of Lake Windermere. Boasting hundreds of shops, eating and drinking establishments and many fine cultural and historical attractions. The views from Bowness out across the lake and up to the mountains are some of the finest in the Lake District.Late afternoon we visit Grasmere village, in the heart of the Lake District which remains one of Cumbria’s most popular villages, largely due to it’s picturesque location and its ties to William Wordsworth. With its dramatic fells, serene lake, and a vibrant blend of cultural and historical attractions, this little village draws large numbers of visitors from across the world.
