A space for women to unwind, connect and create.Join us for a warm and welcoming night of creativity conversation and calm at The Elgin, Maida Vale.
This Make Space session, Adventures with dough, is a gentle, guided evening designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and enjoy the simple joy of making something by hand.
Whether you’re an absolute beginner or haven’t kneaded a ball of dough in years, this workshop is all about process, not perfection. You’ll be guided step by step through a relaxed, sensory baking experience – exploring texture, rhythm and the simple joy of working with your hands in a way that feels grounding, fun and wonderfully restorative.
No baking experience needed – just curiosity, an open mind and a willingness to play (and get a little floury).
Your ticket includes:
- a welcome drink on arrival
- Light refreshments
- All materials and equipment
- A guided creative workshop led in a gentle accessible way.
- A supportive, social space to relax and reconnect.
Please note that additional drinks and food will be available to purchase directly from the bar downstairs.

Time: Doors open 7:45pm (so feel free to come early, grab a drink and settle in)
Session begins at 8pm and finishes at 09:30pm.

Ticket costs: £35

About the Make Space Events
This adventures with dough evening is part of the Make Space series - a collection of creative wellbeing workshops. Each event centres around a different hands-on activity but the heart of it remains the same: to carve out space to connect, express and restore through creativity.
Each session is carefully curated to combine playfulness and depth - blending gentle guidance with moments for reflection, laughter and community.
