Explore the wonders of Gelli Printing to design and create your own beautiful gift boxes and cards. Gelli Printing is a super versatile and accessible form of printing, which can easily be done at home as there is no need for a printing press. Using acrylic paints this technique allows you to have fun with colour and mark making to create unique one-of-a-kind monoprints, from abstract designs and patterns to realistic images. By the end of the workshop you'll havehave created an array of beautiful gift boxes of different sizes and gained insight into the wonders of Gelli Printing, exploring a range of pattern and mark making techniques , including using laser prints and different media to lift the paint and create a range of textures and patterns.
What's included:
All materials and equipment are provided, plus tea, coffee and biscuits to keep us going. A gift box template to take home is also included in the price. Aprons will be provided, however we will be using acrylic paint which can be difficult to wash out of clothes when dry so please wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on by accident.
Experience levels:
All levels welcome from beginners with no experience to those who have experience of printing and want to add gelli printing to their repertoire of mark making techniques.
