About
Magnify is a brand-new day conference created simply to encourage those who serve the church week in, week out in gathered worship. If you play, sing, mix sound, click slides, run tech, or help shape Sunday services in any way, this day is for you—a chance to catch your breath, be refreshed, and remember the joy of serving Jesus together.The day is made up of three distinct events, so you can attend any or all:
🎚️EQUIP (9:30 am–12:30 pm) – a relaxed morning of practical, hands-on training to help you grow in confidence and skill.
Seminars include:
- Magnifying Christ Across Languages: Equipping the Church to Sing Together (Sam Payne)
- Magnifying Christ Across Generations: Singing with all ages (Dan Adams and Gareth Loh)
- Magnifying Christ Week by Week: Equipping Sung Worship Leaders and Musicians for the Local Church (Ben Slee)
- Magnifying Christ Beyond the Melody: Equipping instrumentalists to Find Harmonies (Anne MacGregor)
- Magnifying Christ as One Team: Equipping Tech teams, Musicians, and Church Leaders to Serve Together (Panel Discussion with Phil Moore and Max Broadbent, Steve Collis, and Matt Dennis)
🎵ENJOY (3:00 pm) – a fun, family-friendly worship session with Awesome Cutlery, celebrating the joy of praising Jesus across the generations.
🎺EXALT (7:00 pm) – an evening of rich, Christ-centered worship, singing old and new songs led by hymnwriters Phil Moore & Ben Slee, with more special guests to be announced.
Throughout the day there’s space to connect, laugh, worship, learn, and simply enjoy being together as God’s people. We hope you’ll leave encouraged, re-energised, and ready to magnify Christ with joy and unity in your own church family.
