Youth Arts

About
Our Youth Arts is a weekly creative space for young people aged 11–15 to explore, make, and express themselves in a fun and supportive environment.
Throughout the year, participants will get to experiment with a wide range of creative processes, from sculpture and painting to textiles, illustration and more. It’s a space to try new things, build confidence, meet new people and grow creatively. And yes—toasties are always provided, because no one makes good art when they’re hangry.
WHEN
Wednesdays, 4 – 6pm (term time only). Please book in a half-term block.
COST
These sessions are free to attend, funded by the Arts Council and Awards for All. If you would like to make a contribution to support the sessions, we would be very appreciative.
ADULT SUPERVISION
Young People can attend independently once a consent form has been completed

Our pottery studio at Mealbank is currently on the first floor and is not wheelchair accessible. There is also no wheelchair-accessible toilet at the pottery. We know that accessibility is important, and improving access to our pottery space is something we are looking to develop.
We want everyone to feel welcome at Ragtag. If you or your child has a disability, is neurodivergent, or has other access needs, please get in touch before your visit. We’ll do our best to support your needs.
